AT Assembler

ABB is seeking for AT Assembler for it's Warminster, PA location. Electronics assemblers work to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems by performing various tasks.
Manufacturing/Production Workers
Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets, on chassis panel.
Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in housings, cases, shelves and cabinets.
Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.
Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color coding parts and assemblies.
Tends machines that press, shape, or wind component parts.
Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
Performs online go/no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifics and standards.
Know all transmitter assemblies such as AT100, AT200, AT500, AT600, MT couplers and all sub-assemblies.
Employee may travel to factory location in Louisiana for additional training upon hire.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment machine testing given by testing provider.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of HS Diploma/GED and a minimum of 1+ years assembler experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing, welding or electrical assembly.
Ability to read wire tables, system schematics, assembly drawings, process, and supplier drawings for wiring and assembly of parts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with lifting/moving heavy weight material.
Basic mathematic skills.
Employee may travel to factory location in Louisiana for additional training upon hire.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
