Application Engineer Intermediate

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide complete technical and commercial support to Regional Sales Managers, FCD representatives, FCD distributors and direct customers. Provide Application Engineering Expertise in Special Applications (i.e. conceptual design of special configurations, evaluation of existing designs, basic modification of existing designs, etc.). Represent FCD in customer meetings, and coordinate commercial and technical negotiations. Provide Project Management Support when required.  Examples include significant projects, projects requiring special testing and inspections, or projects requiring special handling and documentation. Utilize regular opportunities to continue education of self, as well as, coworkers (i.e. seminars, college or university courses, internal cross training, author technical papers, mentoring, etc.). Level of Responsibility: Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline Makes significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role--continuing to develop specialized knowledge 2+years of technicalsupportexperience Educational Requirements: AA/AS degreein Related Engineering Field w/5-10+ years' experience BA/BS degreein Related Engineering Field w/2-5+ years' experience MA/MSdegreein Related Engineering Fieldw/0-2+years'experience Position Requirement: Experience in water treatment, oil/gas, and/or petrochemical industries is desired. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
