Machinists positions- 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 12:00am)Several positions available
AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
Work from a part drawing to produce a quality finished product utilizing both CNC vertical and/or conventional (Bridgeport, engine lathe) machine tools.Incumbent responsibilities will generally focus on one or more of the following:
-Machining (setup and run using approved programs, material procurement)
-Methodizing component parts efficiently and logically
-Producing fixturing to aid in the production of machined parts
-Machine programming (knowledge of advanced G and M code for FANUC Controls and Mazatrol and the Haas Intuitive Programming System)-Programming language.
-Method documentation and quality data produced and filed as standard work.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
-Under minimal supervision, performs varied and complex tasks
-Applies advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area
-Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position
-May rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish some assigned tasks and goals
-Resolves most questions and problems, may serve as a resource on several topics, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels Requirements:-Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma or Skilled Trades Apprenticeship preferred. -Positions require minimum of five (5) years experience in machining, methodizing and CNC vertical programming.-Comply with the company policy and applicable regulatory and company rules and requirements-Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards-Attend scheduled training program-Actively support the organization (efforts to meet or exceed compant goals and plans).-Recommend improved company practicesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
