The selected candidate will be responsible for the Perishable operation of the store and will be required to provide exceptional customer service.
The candidate will also ensure financial stability through the core functions of the retail operation as well as maintaining all company procedures and merchandising standards.
Finally, the individual will work to develop and maintain a strong team that consistently meets goals for productivity and customer service.
The perfect candidate:
Can supervise the store when the Store Manager is away Supports department manager teams in meeting financial and sales goals Focuses on creating a great customer experience Coaches and develops the team of department managers and Associates Ensures merchandising, quality, food safety, and compliance standards are maintained Participates in activities to develop awareness in the community Leads by the standards of our Purpose and core values Responsibilities include:
Financial Performance- Manages Floral, Produce, Meat, Seafood, Bakery, and Appy departments to achieve financial and merchandising goals, profit, and labor goal through effective cost control.
Directs, counsels, audits and coordinates the activities of department manager team in solving operating issues and improving individual performance and conditions.
Inventory Management- Warehouse & vendors, manages stock in all perishables department within store.
Manages in stock for all shelf and promotional items.
Review ordering and commitments for each department.
Oversee tracking WROPS reports, track billing, schedules, throw away logs, GR160 reports, AD comparison reports, gross profit range reports, ad checks, QA sanitation reports 95%, and menu labeling.
Ensuring all compliance programs are met on a daily basis Team members are properly trained, motivated and working in a safe environment Support store in all safety and sanitization methods/programs.
Mentor management team to ensure inventory levels are met and orders are properly placed Maintaining a positive environment between the employees, customers and store leadership
Qualifications:
Excellent mentor, communication and coaching skills.
Ability to analyze and understand data.
Ability to develop and achieve financial goals Ability to build a culture of compliance and outstanding customer service Comprehensive knowledge of the retail industry and trends A problem solver with an ability to deal with conflict resolutions Must have Grocery Store Management Experience.
