Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving operating a pallet jack, operating a forklift, shipping and lifting materials, picking orders.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
The positions within this job family will vary by level, but may include the following:
Shipping and Warehouse Worker:
Making/packing boxes Standing for 8hrs while packaging product Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping Managing all merchandise with appropriate care Assisting with training of newly employed workers Packing boxes on pallets securely for national or international shipping Reading/filling out paperwork associated with job setup and completion.
Job requirements:
Shipping and Warehouse Worker:
Familiar with Computer Knowledge of Shipstation software would be I deal but not necessary.
We will train.
Daily physical activity including long periods of standing, crouching, bending, lifting, carrying and grabbing with high levels of hand dexterity in a loud environment.
Basic understanding of math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions.
Attention to detail.
